In this article, which will partly be a Worldwide Brands review and partly a comparison with Doba, I'm going to talk about what Worldwide Brands is and how it compares to one of it's main competitors.

Worldwide Brands is one of the leading directories of wholesalers, drop sippers and manufacturers on the Internet – with more suppliers and products than any other database.  Worldwide Brands lists more than 16 million wholesale products from around 8,000 suppliers as of 2018 – and membership costs a fairly respectable $249.

For this you get access to a searchable list of suppliers – which you will need to contact directly to buy from.  Finding new wholesalers and drop shippers is the easy part – dealing with them takes much more work.

Doba is aimed at the same people – new online retailers and eBay resellers – but it works quite differently.  It's not simply a searchable database of suppliers, but a tool that works a bit like your own personal fulfilment centre.

If you want to buy anything from Doba, and there are about two million products available, you can search for it, buy it and have it drop shipped to your customers all from the same interface.

It is by far the easiest way to get new products from drop shippers, and to manage your stock and suppliers.  However, it has two disadvantages compared to Worldwide Brands – there are significantly fewer products and you can only have goods shipped to US based addresses.
